- GUIDELINES
Certain combination of dates may not be accepted. During peak season rental requests fewer than 7 nights may
have to back up to another rental date.
Please note: Receipt of credit card information or check constitutes a reservation and your dates are reserved.
This applies regardless whether your agreement has been received or not. All cancellation policies apply.
- Terminating Rental:
My Beach House Rentals reserves the right to refuse or discontinue
tenancy if, in its opinion, the guest is detrimental to the
property.
- Damages: Guests
will be responsible for any damages or theft. Please report any
damage at check-in or upon occurrence. Our housekeeper walks through
each unit after check-out to ensure property is left in good order. Not limited to but includes damages to linens, pet scratching, must pick up pet dropping, exceeding occupancy and # cars, noise violation, police called etc . Details in your welcome email.

- Changes: While our
goal is total accuracy, My Beach House Rentals is not responsible
for changes made or inputting errors. Taste, style and quality vary.
We make every effort to relay rental information via pictures,
descriptions and relative pricing. Descriptions and rates are
subject to change without notice.
- Maintenance:
Although we cannot guarantee the operation of all appliances, we
make every effort to keep the equipment and appliances in working
order. Agents, authorized employees or repairmen may enter the
premises during business hours for purposes connected with repair,
care or maintenance of My Beach House Rental Properties. We will do
our best to have any malfunction repaired quickly. THERE CAN
BE NEITHER A DISCOUNT GIVEN NOR REFUND MADE BASED UPON EQUIPMENT, HOT TUB OR
APPLIANCE FAILURE.
- Early Departure:
Early termination of a rental period by the guest does not supersede
the original reservation agreement.
- Indemnification:
Guests agree to indemnify and save individual homeowners, My Beach
House Rentals and its employees and owners, free and harmless for any
liabilities or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from, related
to, or in any connection with the rental of the premises, including
but not limited to, any claim or liability of personal injury or
damage or loss of property which is incurred or sustained by a guest
or guests of guest. My Beach House Rentals is not responsible for
items left behind. There is a $25 return fee plus cost of postage for return or articles.
- Housekeeping: Your
unit will be equipped with bed linens, towels and bath and start-up kitchen
amenities. Our housekeepers will clean after you check out. We do
not provide any additional cleaning services during your rental
period. Start up soaps and tissue is provided. There is a grocery store on island if you need more. Before your departure please remove all trash from house and sweep up excess sand. No need to wash linens or towels.
- RESERVATION POLICIES
- Cancellation Policy:
In the event of cancellation, a refund of the rental fees will be made to the extent that a replacement tenant can be found to occupy the vacated time reserved under the contract, minus a $100 processing fee. Receipt of check or credit card information confirms a reservation and cancellation policy applies even if agreement has not been received.

You may also request availability from my website by filling out the information form provided by clicking "Book It" for the house you want. If your choice is available, I will notify you and you will be asked to fax (404-601-1462) or postal mail a Rental Agreement contract that must be signed and returned to me along with your initial payment of 1/2 the rental fee. You may also agree online by entering reservation system
The balance of the rental fee, plus a $200 refundable damage deposit is due at least 21 days prior to your arrival, at which time I will email the combination to the Key Box to you along with directions, check-in and check-out times, etc.

- Check-In/Check-Out Times:
To guarantee our guests a clean unit and avoid delays, we ask that
all guests abide by our Check-In Time of 4:00 pm EST and
Check-Out Time of 11:00 am EST We CANNOT guarantee early
check-in or late check-out requests.
- Parties: No house
parties are allowed in any of the rental units. We reserve the right
to terminate occupancy without refund should this occur. Please no
fireworks. Fireworks are illegal in the state of Georgia. May not exceed occupancy at any time or # cars allowed at any time. Neighbors will complain and you will lose deposit. 10pm Quiet
- Long Distance Phone Calls:
My Beach House Rental properties have a block on long distance phone
calls. Please bring your cell phone or a calling card for long
distance calls. Local calls are free. Internet access is available
through dial-up. Savannah, GA is a local call. Some houses do not have a land line.

- Smoking is permitted on the decks or outside. NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE ANY PROPERTY. $$$ FEE
- Pet Rules: Please
do not allow your pet to dig holes in yard. Pets are not allowed on
furniture. It is difficult to remove pet hair from upholstery.
Please remove "droppings" from yard. Place in outside trash can. If there is evidence of pet hair on furniture or on linens your damage deposit will be forfeited. No scratching on doors, etc.
- Trash pick-up:
City of Tybee provides trash pick up 2x a week.. Please leave your large green trash can on the street as dates of pick up vary per house.
- THINGS TO BRING
- While My Beach House Rentals provide basic start - up amenities, you may want to bring some additional items that may not be supplied. Bring your favorite beach chair. There may be some beach gear at the house but not guaranteed.
- You will need to bring any special cooking equipment, personal toiletries, batteries, etc.
- There is a grocery store on the island, IGA. They will even deliver supplies to you.
- THINGS TO DO BEFORE LEAVING
- Turn off all air-conditioners and heaters.
- Remove all trash from property.
- Leave beds unmade and towels in bathrooms Do not wash
- Remove all food from refrigerator.
- Note pet rules: remove all pet droppings from yard, etc. Clean up excess hair.
- Please sign our guestbook.
- Clean charcoal grill. Place "cooled" coals in outside trash can
- Lock all Doors.
- Leave one key in key box and all other keys in the house. Take your cell phone charger!
- Plan to come back!
